Social Media Strategy
Social media is an important part of a credit union’s marketing plan. A well implemented social media strategy will take your credit union beyond counting followers or tallying retweets. Used correctly, social media can be a mighty member acquisition tool, a powerful approach to member engagement and a lifeline to your community.
There are several ways we can help with your credit union’s social media strategy – whether you’re looking to ramp up your current efforts or just need some help in maintaining your presence.
Social Media Mentor – We'll provide regular advisement on your social media strategy, when you can do most of the day to day tasks yourself. This gives you access to help/advisement on an ‘as-needed’ basis, usually 1 to 2 times per month. We’ll help your credit union create a Digital Media Planning schedule and offer guidance on content.
Social Media Audit – This is for credit unions that need help in defining a social media strategy. We’ll evaluate your current marketing, as well as your competitors' and the credit union industry as a whole, then recommend which social media platforms will give you the most bang for your buck. You'll get an accurate audit of where you are right now, and how to get where you want to be.
Social Media Engagement – We’ll show you how to accurately monitor and track your credit union’s social mentions, as well as mentions of your credit union's key players, industry-specific terms, as well as your competitors. Then we’ll show you how to best engage members and followers that are discussing your credit union on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or other social media platforms.
Social Media Strategy – We’ll take your credit union’s existing social media campaign and improve on it, or help you launch a completely new one. We can design your Company Page on LinkedIn, maximize your Instagram presence, advertise on Facebook, post strategic videos to YouTube, or most likely a combination of some or all of these.
An effective social media plan is not just about creating a profile on social media - it’s about what you do with it. Maximizing social media efforts takes more than just managing your credit union's presence on Facebook. It’s about building relationships and helping your members to see you as more than just a financial institution.
